New Materials for Custom Arch Supports.

Increases the longevity and comfort of Custom Arch Supports.

8/10/2007 -- Designer materials by NASA for the space station use, have finally made their way into the world of Prosthetics and Orthotics. These new brand of polymers will increase the longevity and comfort level of custom arch supports.  In the past, custom arch supports would only last (depending on patient's weight and activity level) up to 8 months. We now speculate that the supports will last a full year- a 33% increase in the life of arch supports.

Medicare recently made new rules regarding custom arch supports. They have ruled that an insulin dependent Diabetic can receive up to 3 pair of custom arch supports per calendar year.
