Letter From The President
In 1972,
I had a good friend that lost his leg from a motorcycle accident. I watched the
entire Prosthetic process from the very beginning. As the weeks turned into
months, I could actually see the difference a Prosthesis made in my friend’s
life.
In 1978,
I started my journey to become the best Prosthetist in the field. Needless to
say I am not the best Prosthetist (although I strive to be the best) but by
perfecting my patient care and having sustainable positive results, my journey
will continue on a positive path. I personally believe that any item I place on
a person should be of the highest quality to enable the most independence for
that individual. If the product is wrong or doesn’t fit properly, we must
re-make the product. That is what separates my company from my past employment
experiences.
In 2003
I decided that I wanted to make a real change in the way that patient care was
provided in the O&P field. I opened a location in Arkansas and in 2005, I opened
up in Memphis, TN. In 2007 I purchased the assets of Prosthetic and Pedorthic
Associates, I also kept the key people from that company. There are many jewels
today added to our company, the rest fell by the wayside. During the years we
have become the largest privately owned O&P facility in West Tennessee. In 2008
we opened "Parvanas", providing modern post-mastectomy care in this area. We are
the ONLY accredited post-mastectomy care facility in Shelby county. By listening
to patient’s needs and offering the best Prosthetic care in the area, we have
steadily increased our referral sources. I know that they can depend on our
products and services. Our patient's very often refer patients to our facility.
I am
accessible to all patients if requested. I may not be able to talk at the
immediate time, but I will be able to follow-up with you at your request. I like
to hear from our patients. From our patient surveys we have 98.7% total
patient satisfaction.
